Beautiful country cafe with a great bar serving wonderful home cooked food.

Visited today with my son, daughter and grandson for lunch. Fabulous friendly welcome and shown to our table. Menus given to us and what a choice. My daughter is vegetarian and found a good choice of meals. I had shepherds pie with vegetables, and a small jug of gravy, my son had the all day breakfast, and my grandson had a meal from kiddies menu. My grandson is two years old, he was given a picture to colour in whilst waiting for his meal, and he was given lighter cutlery to eat his meal. I wish other eateries would do this. Children cannot cope with adult cutlery. Food was very good, and service was excellent. We will be back. Thank you all for a very pleasant experience at Veronicas Larder.

The food was very good and the coffee was excellent. Throughly enjoyed my breakfast and felt the prices were appropriate. Very bright and airy interior with very clean bathrooms

Considering that this cafe is a bit off the beaten track, we were surprised how busy it was on a Wednesday lunchtime. Our food was cooked to order and very tasty. Chicken pie and veg for my wife (proper plate pie with a bottom) and homemade lasagne for me with two big chunks of garlic bread.

Fantastic little place. Very clean. Excellent food and friendly staff...a true diamond place..we'll worth a visit
